Special breakfast...

Have I ever mentioned what great kids we have? They were sweet enough to wake me up this morning to serve me an "anniversary breakfast" in bed! At 5:55 am!! Um, I usually sleep until 8 or 9 am, so it was a real shocker! They wanted to do something special since John was in Las Vegas, and even though I wasn't fully awake at the time, I was so honored.

Here's what they came up with: a banana, blueberry muffin, and orange juice. Kennedi even created a lego sculpture of me, and I am holding an ice water and a platter with turkey (brown lego), cranberries (red), and lettuce (green)! Plus I am standing underneath a shade tree, "because you're always under trees trying to find shade" she says. Don't I look great in stripes (my fav. color is green)!

John and I met up tonight after he got back in town and had dinner at Outback - yum! What a great day...
