Politics are in the air...
With a big election looming in the distance, Kaisha decided to try her hand at politics, too! She ran for Freshman Student Council, AND SHE WON! She is the new Treasurer. She will serve with her friend Cori as President; her friend from the 1st ward, Quincee Jackson as Vice President; and another gal she isn't too familiar with as Secretary. She made up a bunch of awesome posters to hang at the school (what talent this girl has!). She was running against a "dude" (who has a ton of friends), but apparently she was the better vote! We are so proud of her and her accomplishments. This new role will teach her so much. It's already teaching her how to manage and balance her time - they meet every morning, which may interfere a bit with Seminary. It will all work out! Way to go, Kaisha-licious :)

Yeah! Congratulations - that is so cool!!
Congratulations Kaisha. Girls Rule! That should make your school year busy but a lot of fun too.
WOW! That is so awesome! Tell her I said, "Way to go!" What a great job!
ALso, in looking at your wedding picture on your blog, I was wondering what year you got married. The temple with scaffolding on it reminds me of a family reunion we had in 90 or 91- maybe 92 in Salt Lake and all of our pictures of the temple had scaffolding in it- you werent by chance married then were you? kinda a random question, but it was just weird to see someone elses pictures of the temple like the ones I have!
