If you know me, you would know that I love clouds, storms, rain, and lightning & thunder! Well, last Thursday night (Aug. 28) I was actually scared by the terrifying lightning storm that blew through town! It was so spectacular - I sat here for hours just watching (and shooting footage!) The kids and I finished up dinner (John was in LA that day and the next for a marketing mtg) and then turned off all the lights, opened the blinds, and watched in amazement. The thunder was sooo loud that it shook the house! There was a time that we started questioning whether it was the end of the world! I took a ton of pictures, only to land a handful of keepers, and a few videos to show John - more like to prove that it was as scary as we described! We were so grateful that we didn't lose power like a lot of the Phoenix area - the news broadcasters that night were sweating with no a/c power (it was kinda funny to watch them!). I have a video to go along with this, but it was taking FOREVER to upload, so I need to figure that out first! Here are a few of my good shots:
