I was driving around tonight with Kerianne, Kameron and Kennedi. We stopped at Water & Ice for a water fill-up, and then on our way to KFC (I know what you're thinking: "John must be out of town" and well, you're right!) Kennedi announced loudly that we all needed to be quiet because she had a headache. Here was the conversation:
Kennedi: "Can everyone just be quiet because I have a bad headache."
Kameron: "Kennedi, do you even know what a headache is?"
Kennedi: "YES, everyone PLEASE be quiet." - even louder!
Mom: "Kenners, maybe you'll need to take some medicine when we get home" (this is a "death wish" because she HATES medicine, and I knew it would end the complaint!)
Kennedi: - eyes big, with a look of fear!
Mom: "What does your head feel like?"
Kennedi: "It feels like sparks inside my head."
Oh, my baby! I've never really associated "sparks" with headaches; mine usually feel like a freight train rolling around up there :o) Kaisha has been getting headaches lately, so we're trying to speak quietly and be respectful when someone is suffering. It's funny that we make these changes for our children, but when "Mom" has a migraine, everything is business as usual and as loud as ever!

How funny. I know what you mean about when you have a headache and life just has to continue as if nothing were wrong. I guess it is the hard part about being a Mom. I know Heavenly Father made us "Miraculos Women" so we can still carry on during hard times not only during our hard times but for others hard times too!
So...did she take the medicine???
That is a very creative way of describing a headache!
