Wipeout & whistling winds...

It's been a good day today:

* I had a great morning workout after the kids were gone...

* John flew to Las Vegas for meetings, then flew back to Phoenix, picked up his golf clubs (in his trunk at the airport), then flew off to Orange County for a company golf tourney tomorrow. Fun fun! Last night was the first night in over a week that we actually sat down as a complete family for dinner! It was nice...

* I met up with good friend Kerry Fulton for lunch at Quizno's. I was good and ordered a salad (probably shouldn't have eaten all that bacon & cheese, though!). It was fun to catch up and hear the gossip from the 1st ward and compare our YW stories! It's great to have a friend who I relate so well with. I miss the 1st ward...

* Kaisha had her first "home" volleyball match. They WON! Way-to-go, Kaish...

* The kids and I watched Wipeout - the BEST show ever! We record it on Tuesday night and usually watch it after school on Wednesday - what we were thinking yesterday? (we must have been confused!) It was hilarious! I have decided that I cannot watch even one episode without Kam. He makes it so fun...

* The craziest wind storm has just blown in to town...


The kids are a little freaked out by the "whistling" sound! I think it's great, until I open the door to get this shot of the golf course across the street and SAND pelts into my eyes! Ugh...

* Kerianne has decided to run for Student Council at her school - Secretary, I think! The position changes from day to day. We had talked Kameron into running for a class nomination for his student council: he thought that would be fun, then changed his mind yesterday when he found out 9 other kids thought the same thing, and then changed it back last night and was going to go for it, only to find out today it was too late - they already had 9 and he was #10. Bummer! I had some really good slogans going on for his posters: "Kam's the Man" etc, etc...
