elections ~ contacts ~ a loose tooth!

Kerianne was running for Secretary of her 6th grade Student Council, and came home the other day to declare that she didn't win :o( Her friend got it. But her spirits are high and she says she'll try again next year.

Kaisha is really pushing to get "contacts" right now! She and Keri are due for eye appts. (and Kam, too) and after being hit in the face with a volleyball, she thinks that it's time. I've worn them in the past and decided that I'll never wear them again! She has a few friends that have them and if they can do it, I guess she can- she's much more mature & responsible than they are! We'll have to check the $$$ tree out back and see if there's enough for new contacts!

Kameron is just as busy as ever! He's trading his Pokemon cards and getting some back that he lost (I still don't get it!). He invented something last night with a PUSH PIN and a PAPER CLIP! It even has a name, which I can't remember right now (Mr. McPushy??). Anyway, he is carting this thing everywhere. It came to family prayer last night and was surfing on the waves (bumps on the sheet), and went to school today - because we all need to learn!! What will he come up with next...

Kennedi has the greatest news of all!! She finally has her first LOOSE TOOTH! We're all so excited. She is a late bloomer - 7 years old, 2nd grade! She actually didn't cut her first tooth until she was 15mos! And we were okay with that! The dentist told us not to worry until 18mos. and then they'd take x-rays. He said her teeth would just be really strong, and they are! She is wiggling it like crazy and cannot wait for it to come out. Just wait until she feels the pain and catches sight of the blood, and then we're in big trouble!
