Rain & spelly beans...

I have been in Heaven today, because ...

I love the rain.

I love the way it sounds, especially the way it smells!

We so need it down here right now.

It didn't last that long, but I'm sure there will be

some flooding tomorrow!

Time for a drive :o)

Kameron is going to be mad, but I must remember a conversation that we had yesterday. It went something like this:

Mom: "Kennedi, how did you do on your spelling pre-test today?"

Kennedi: "Great. I got 100% again!"

Mom: "Wow! You guys are so great with spelling. Maybe you should be in a spelling bee someday."

Kameron: "I always do good on my tests. They're too easy. Do you know during spelly beans..."

Mom: "Uh, did you just say - Spelly Beans?"

All three of us laugh hysterically ~ Kam: that character!

Tonight, after we finished family prayer and song, Kaisha went in search for Speckle. She then comes back into my bedroom caressing the precious hamster, who somehow becomes SPOOKED and turns on Kaisha, hissing and waving her tinie arms in the air. Kaisha drops her (pretty far fall to the floor!) and then we notice that Pooh-Bear is in the room. Kaisha is screaming - loudly - and grabs Lexi and runs out of the room. I am screaming, wondering what the heck is going on, and notice poor Speckle on the floor sitting up like a groundhog - hissing! She runs under the dresser, and now Kennedi is screaming! We got her out pretty quick, though. I'm pretty sure Speckle caught sight of Lex and thought she was doomed to be a late-night snackeroo, and aggressively tried to save herself... I could be wrong!

{ Pretty good day } :o)

LOL! Aim I can't believe you are okay with your kids having hamsters! Jason bought Nicholas a guinea pig named Spike to see if it would help him sleep alone in his room which it has but the dang thing just freaks me out for some reason. Maybe it's because Jason keeps telling me he is a type of rodent and let me tell ya mice totally freak me out!!
