it took some time to get here, but kaisha is finally a working woman! she officially started today and has 30 hours scheduled for this week already. she works at the store near my office (48th & Elliot). her best friend cole has worked there for quite a while and was able to help her apply. we are so proud of her and excited, even though she's employed by a competitor of fresh & easy! we know this is going to be a tough adjustment for her, with school, homework, church activities, friends, chores & laundry at home, etc... she's going to learn very quickly how hard it is to manage/balance her time! and hopefully she'll appreciate john & i a little more, and understand why there are days that we just want to crawl into bed and sleep for a week!

I think it's going to be a great learning experience for her knowing how much you have to work for the money and like you said, learning to manage her time. You cracked me up when you mention she's working for a competitor, where is the loyalty?? :D
