I brought Kameron home from church early today. He wasn't acting normal all morning and I could tell there was something wrong. He just wouldn't tell me about it until we were sitting in the chapel! He finally admitted to a horrible pain in his head -- worse than a headache. I could also see that his lips were very dry and his eyes bloodshot. Dehydrated & exhausted! He's probably tired because we stayed up really late last night talking about the Plan of Salvation. Kerianne had a couple of questions as we were sitting down for scripture and prayer, and it turned into a wonderful two-hour discussion! Kennedi slept through most of it -- Kameron started complaining after the first hour! I guess we have to remind ourselves that the little ones are accustomed to a 7:30pm bedtime during the week :) So I can see why he's exhausted today. He and I came home, changed into something comfy, took a Tylenol, and he's resting and drinking plenty of water. It seems that Kam is the one we must watch when it comes to hydration...
We are having dinner tonight with the Finell family from our ward. Their daughter Ryann is in Kennedi's Primary class and the two of them hit it off the first day. They also have Vivian, who is an absolute sweetheart, and a baby boy Luke. It will be fun to get to know another ward family. The mom Rebecca is part-owner and design principal of a posh company that makes innovative baby products and toddler gear {Boon Inc.}. Check out their website -- she comes up with some really neat things. We are totally getting their new "stash it" organizer (in white!). I guess we also have another connection with this company: our home teacher Bro. Skidmore works as their director of finance. He is awesome, as is his partner -- his son James! They are another neat family that we need to get to know better.
There's more to post, but time is running out :) Gotta run and get dessert ready...
