Here's her explanation of how it's done:"You take a flip flop that is your size, without anything on it, and you get a giant piece of fabric and you cut little slits in the top, and you just rip 'em -- tear 'em. So you take them into one piece of strips and you cut them into equal pieces. You get your flip flop and you tie the fabric around it and then tie a knot and repeat all the way around."
