beginnings of a great weekend...

Highlights of our day, so far...

~~ We were able to sleep in a little bit
~~ Loved the first session of General Conference - we played bingo (of course!) and the kids had other fun conference packets -- each year it's getting easier for them to sit still and listen!
~~ I started laundry and cleaned house a bit during the break
~~ Really loved the second session of conference - bingo again, but the little kids were a bit restless
~~ Kameron and I watched some great shows on Nat. Geo. -- airports, bridges, skyscrapers -- and another about the reinvention of Hoover Dam (my favorite!!!)
~~ John and I delivered yummy, hot cookies and bingo card printouts to his home teaching families
~~ John is at the Priesthood Session (I wonder if they're being counseled to worship and adore their wives and give them anything they want -- a girl can dream, right?)
~~ I made it to the grocery store for some much needed supplies
~~ I actually made dinner!
~~ Kaisha & Kerianne are at the high school watching a school play
~~ I'm getting ready to switch and fold all that laundry - ugh :(
~~ We'll watch Seven Pounds tonight after John and the girls get home - I had to buy it because it's such a great movie

p.s. I just need to mention how {awesome} our kids are: they made it through both sessions of conference (all 4 hours!) without any kind of yummy reward for their bingo wins ;-) I forgot to buy the treats last night and didn't have time this morning, but they kept track of their winnings and have just now been rewarded with their goodies!!!! Now that's dedication - I don't think they'll let me off so easy next time, though...
