ooey-gooey popcorn...

Mmmmmmmmm...
This sinful treat is our fam favorite right now,
except for Kenners - plain popcorn for her...
I thought that I would share my treasured recipe with any
who would like to try it out.
(it doesn't set up, so have plenty of wipies handy)

1/2 cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup corn syrup
14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
3 bags 'light butter' popcorn

* Combine butter, brown sugar and corn syrup
in saucepan and cook over medium-high heat
to soft ball stage (235*). Set aside to cool.
* While cooling, pop the popcorn - remove kernels
(I put it in a jumbo Hefty slider bag - easier to mix it up)
* Stir in sweetened condensed milk to cooled mixture.
* Pour over popcorn. Seal bag and squish away
until completely coated.

I usually make a double batch
because we go through it like you would not believe!
I think it tastes better the following day.
Oh, and what did we ever do before these
JUMBO size baggies?
You can fit a whole watermelon in one.
