Christmas day...

Merry Christmas everyone!
We had a wonderful Christmas day. The kids woke up around 5:00am to start the festivities (not so wonderful!) and we saw that Santa had found us this year! Kennedi was excited to get the bike that she'd asked for; Kameron found the Rip-Stik he asked for; Kerianne now has her very own camera; and Kaisha has a bunch of $$ to get anything she wants (when you only ask for two things - two things that you already have - Santa cannot always deliver!) - so she'll have fun buying clothes or maybe that new I-pod, if she wants. We were so excited to see a huge Ping Pong table for the family. John and the kids spent hours and hours putting it together. John and I got our Christmas present early - the new Tahoe!

It was also so much fun to open our "secret" family gifts:
* John had me and gave me a super soft blanket (it's green - my fav color) and some of my favorite candy;
* I had Kennedi and gave her Pokemon cards, a bead jewelry kit and moon sand;
* Kaisha had Kerianne and gave her a Tomagachi (?) pet and lanyard;
* Kerianne had Kameron and gave him an Indiana Jones Lego set and small Robo Panda;
* Kameron had John and gave him a cool electronic dartboard (he can't wait for John to put it up, probably so HE can play it!);
* Kennedi had Kaisha and gave her a cute Sock Monkey - that Kaish has really really wanted!

After the presents were opened, John and I slipped back into bed for a couple hours ~ Kerianne and Kennedi were up WAY TOO LATE on Christmas Eve, which meant we were too. The kids played and had fun and then we enjoyed a yummy brunch: pancakes, eggs, bacon-wrapped-sausages, tangerines, hot cocoa with the works (whipped cream and red & green sugar sprinkles). For dinner we had honey-baked ham, Christmas potatoes (sour cream potatoes or funeral potatoes, whichever you prefer), corn and rolls. Oh, so much awesome food :o)

I wish that I had taken more photos, but I wasn't feeling so great ~ I have a touch of what Kennedi had. Kaisha also took a few pictures and should be posting them on her blog. But here are a few from our day...
