helped plant our first palm tree!!

our little gophers digging holes for the orchard
john is finally in his element!

the orchard has 3 lemon trees, 2 orange, 1 grapefruit
building up the dirt for the pavers for the extended patio and leading out to the firepit, with kennedi's tetherball in the background. the trampoline will go behind the tetherball.
i was so happy today to see john so happy! he finally has a yard to design and work in. if you know anything about him, it's that he loves yard work and really has a green thumb! kennedi is truly following in his steps! we have big plans for this big backyard: the kids area with tetherball & trampoline, the patio/firepit, a pool/spa behind that in the southeast corner (someday!), the orchard in the opposite corner, a nice grass area throughout the yard. john has it all planned out and i know he'll have a great time bringing it to fruition with the kids :0)

Your very own orchard! The backyard is going to be your own private oasis and the beauty of it lies in that now it's completely yours and the kids are helping create it. Congratulations on making your dream come true... :)
