we were excited to see bo. john & i had met him before at rick's home when he also had two female newfoundlands! just imagine for a minute what it would be like living in a house with three of these pups!! he's a champion show dog and has won many shows. the parade really wore him out, as well as the scuffle he had with another dog in his group (there was blood). he couldn't lap from a bowl, so rick was just dumping water into his mouth with a water bottle (hence the "wet")! he didn't bark at anyone, but he has the deepest bark i've ever heard. a few time he would law his face down to rest and his tongue would stick to the concrete! when he stood to walk he was taller than my waist!!! man, these dogs are b-i-g. kaisha has been wanting to get a picture with him but unfortunately had to work. we took a lot of pictures for her!
