This weekend is a busy one...
~ John and Kerianne enjoyed the Phx Suns game last night in the Southwest Airlines suite! It was a great opening game and they had a ton of yummy food to munch on...
~ Kaisha went to the DV homecoming game (I'm not sure who even won!!). She, Alexis & Taylor then toilet papered a friend's house, and she spent the night over at their home -- the Baldwin's are her "second" family...
~ John took his car in for a maintenance check-up this morning, and is at the ASU game with Kameron & Kennedi. The Baldwins had extra tickets and invited them along! Kameron & Kennedi get along great with their son Ben, who is nine...
~ Kaisha and the twins are out getting pedicures this afternoon for the Homecoming Dance tonight! They bought cute dresses a few weeks ago. They all got their hair trimmed by a gal in our ward Thursday night -- well, Alexis got hers cut!! They are going to be gorgeous tonight...
~ Kerianne is off to a friend's Halloween party tonight. She'll be with a great group of girls from the ward. I'm sure she is going to have a blast! She is Tinkerbell this year...
~ John and I will spend the night trick-or-treating with Kam & Kenners. Kam is a Zombie Doctor and Kennedi is a Vampire. All of their old Halloween and dress up costumes sure have come in handy this year!
I have been neglecting our blog lately! I've found that there isn't much time left in the day after I get home from work. There's dinner to be made, a load or two of laundry to be done, homework to be checked, kids to bathe, and then bedtime by 7:30!! It's been challenging. I am loving my new job at The Travis Law Firm and have been given a lot more responsibility the past couple of weeks. It sure makes the time go by faster. One day my supervisor actually told me to stop being so efficient :) The kids are doing great with the new routine. They get home and text me so I know they're safe. They have a snack and work on homework until I get home. The little ones play outside with friends after they're done -- it's nice to have Kaisha & Keri to help watch over them. The temps have been a bit chilly lately. The kids cry that it's FREEZING in the house when they wake up! I quite enjoy it! We haven't turned on the furnace yet -- I'm holding out as long as possible. Time to break out all the blankets and wrap up at night :)
Small plug for Fresh & Easy : John and I bought our Thanksgiving & Christmas turkeys this morning : only $0.37 / lb! Not bad to pay only $7 for a 20-lb turkey! We also found a ton of other great deals. Hurry over to your closest store and grab a couple. I'm excited for our own "neighborhood market" to open in a couple months (48th & Ray).

Hey Aimee, yes I've missed reading new things on your blog! But hey, you are part of the work force now right? No seriously, I'm glad to know everybody has adjusted well to their new routines now that mom is not home when they get home from school. Make sure you post some pictures of them in their customs okay?
So happy you're enjoying work... does the laundry ever stop? :) Thanks for the turkey tip!
I love your blog and am so glad your kids are having so much fun in their new ward with their new friends. Just so you know I recently made a plug for Fresh and Easy in my business class that I had to take and it was a success!
