Kaisha & Kerianne are at Girls Camp for the week. Kaisha has her 4th year hike this year (nine miles with rappelling) so she left yesterday morning, while Keri left this morning. The drive from our home to Maricopa takes exactly 30 minutes, so I left to take Kaish at 5:30am yesterday. This morning was a whole different ballgame!!! We had to be out there by 5:30am, so Keri and I were up at 4:00 this morning, and we left the house at 4:55am. Kam & Kenners came along with their pillows & blankets in tow, but haven't gotten another minute of sleep yet (I, however, just woke from a good long nap!). We couldn't believe how many people there were on the road at five o'clock in the freaking morning! What do these people do? Anyway, we had a crazy storm last night with a lot of thunder and lightning and plenty of rain, and it was still going on early this morning. I hope that Kaisha didn't get poured on :) They said that it is expected to rain every single day this week down on Mt. Lemmon -- ugh! I know that the girls are going to have a wonderful time. I sure did last year. They are with good friends & great leaders. My prayer is that they feel something spiritually that they haven't felt before -- and they come away with rock solid testimonies. The little kids and I are heading to the dollar movie today -- and then dinner at Olive Garden! It's nice to pay for only three! We are missing the girls a lot already :) As a mama duck, I don't like not having control over all my little ducklings! I hope they stay safe... and dry!
