fun in tooele...

I took Kameron and Kennedi with me to stay at Lori's house for a few days. Miles went on a high adventure scout camp with their ward, and she needed help with the three little ones! We were so excited to go and had a really fun week. Plus it was so great to get out of the heat -- we enjoyed some awesome 70 degree nights!! John was able to work from home while we were gone, and he enjoyed going to the movies with Kaisha & Keri. They also cleaned the house spotless for us!!!!

Here's what we did...
~ stopped right away at Sconecutter for lunch -- yummy!
~ had fun at the pool with Lori & the kids
~ surprised the York grandparents with a visit and also saw Rob & Brigid & fam and Debbi & Julie and some of their kiddos.
~ surprised the Dunn grandparents with a late visit.
~ celebrated Grandma Kath's birthday by having dinner at Olive Garden.
~ Kam & Grandpa Scott went to dinner and a movie: the new Terminator. They had a great time together!
~ I had a super visit with Grandpa Joel and Grandma Jill and got copies of family history books & a journal.
~ attended Scotty's gymnastics class in Grantsville while the kids spent the morning doing crafts with Aunt Brigid.
~ played outside in the clubhouse and had a blast on the slip-n-slide!


I must add that Lori served us many delicious homemade meals! We had fun playing with the kids and just having time to chat. We never seem to have much time to do that anymore! Scotty was such a little trooper - giving me his bed to sleep in! It was also fun to be together as a family for Mom's birthday. The food was great and the kids were good -- what a good time. Soooo, when is Miles leaving town again????
