thanksgiving plans...

We are heading to Utah at 6:00am on Thursday morning to spend time with family. And I just realized - as I was typing that last sentence - that I only have a day-and-a-half to prepare! Oh crap! Well, I guess the kids are out of school tomorrow so they'll be a big help in getting laundry done and packed and helping to clean up the house. We're leaving Lexi home and a young man in our ward will come over and take care of her. She'll be in great hands! We're excited for this trip not only because we are flying and not driving (torture!) but because it will be fun to see John's family and Lori & Miles and their boys. We miss Scotty and Grant terribly :o( We are flying back home on Friday, because the airline (last July) was already booked and Friday or the following Tuesday were our only options. It would be nice to spend a little more time, but we'll make the most of a quick trip.

I haven't posted many pictures for a while now and here's the reason: I am scared to death to look at what's on my camera!! Kameron has come up with this real nifty little plan to make mini movies with it! He records everything from "PTW" broadcasts (remember: Professional Thumb Wrestling!) to Lego man movies. It's quite interesting. There are probably 20 or so on my camera right now. I've asked him to keep them short and sweet, but when those "short and sweets" turn in to 20 three-minute-long movies, it can get overwhelming. I'll need to sit down and sort through them and maybe post one or two. Watch out George Lucas...

The girls have been super busy babysitting the past couple weeks and are bringin' in some serious dough! I'm jealous! I may need to get my name out there...

I am excited to finally redesign our blog this weekend and get in to the Christmas spirit. We're pulling out the decorations on Saturday! Can you believe it? I never decorate before my birthday - NEVER - so to do it this early will be a real treat for the kids. We're also going to take some fun pictures of the kids for our Christmas card. Happy Thanksgiving everyone...
