The kids have been asking a lot of questions lately about the election, and if Obama is a good guy or not. They say that most everyone they know in school is voting for him. I think it's great that the schools are holding mock elections tomorrow and involving the kids. They will certainly learn a lot!
John and I have talked to the kids about why this election is so important - what some of the major issues are. They understand Arizona's Prop. 102 and why we are definitely voting "YES".
I'm excited to hit the polls tomorrow. John was to be in Los Angeles today and tomorrow, and is actually on a flight home right now so he can vote in the morning and then fly back! What dedication. I do admit, though, that I am scared for the outcome of this election. I am scared for our country. Things could go very bad, very quickly. On the flip side, that then makes me so grateful for the gospel and for the knowledge that if we are living as we should, that we'll be okay. The messages given in Stake Conference yesterday helped solidify that. Boyd K. Packer - what a great and wise man!
Good luck at the polls :]

We were not so excited with the presidential results but were thrilled with the rest of the proposition results. Let's hope for the best my friend! At least if it continues to get worse it won't be the republicans fault! Haha.
