hunting trip...

John was soooo excited the past several months about an Elk Hunt that he and his brother Robert had planned. They were heading up to Colorado and had everything worked out with a guide service to help navigate them through the mountains and find the best elk. Well, it didn't quite work out that way. They were only able to hunt just a short amount of time before learning that their so-called guide (who had apparently abandoned them in the mountains) was wanted by the law! The hunt was over ~ and the guide was hauled off in handcuffs! Instead of coming home as planned tonight, he flew home Sunday afternoon. Once home, we found out that Southwest Airlines had misplaced his big duffel bag! Don't you just love checking baggage? So, we took the kids to a movie (Beverly Hills Chihuahua - so cute), had dinner and then retrieved the long lost bag - I think it had made a quick trip to Orange County and back! I will try to get John to post about his experience - I mean, nightmare!
