fun & food at the park...

Today was wonderful outside - I think our high was only 96 deg. So, the kids and I ventured out for some fun (see pics below).


Kerianne had been at her friend Meghan's for a sleepover, and decided to spend some more time with them. Kaisha, Kameron, Kennedi and I ran up to Fry's to get sandwiches and drinks (and huge honkin' pickles!) and headed for Pacana Park. There were a few other families there so we had to sit in the sun for lunch. We ran for a shady table when a family nearby left!


Kennedi had fun on the swings and Kameron played hoops for a bit. He and Kaisha had a fun competition of h-o-r-s-e. Then we sat by the lake watching schools of fish devour pieces of soggy bread (not ours) and cheddar Pringles & twisted Cheetos (thanks to us!). There was a beautiful white Crane hangin' around and a cute duck swimming. Several people were even fishing.


It was so nice to get out and smell the fresh air! Summer is finally on the way out....
