gingerbread house they made!
kerianne went to winter formal last night. it was girl's choice so she asked her friend jacob. they had a group of about 10-12 couples in total. friday night they all got together and went to the mesa temple to see the lights. afterwards, they met at someones house for hot cocoa and cinnamon rolls and a movie. yesterday keri spent several hours getting ready! i bought her lunch at chipotle - her favorite! she and jacob were driving with two other couples and they were running a bit late to pick keri up. she was really nervous about pinning the boutonniere on and handed it over to me! i panicked a little after i couldn't get it on right, and just told her it would take too long for me to fiddle with it as they were already 40 minutes late for their group pictures, and she'd have to put it on him in the car! and she did - successfully! they made it to the picture location, had a ton of pictures taken, and then the whole group went to someones house to decorate gingerbread houses. afterwards they had dinner at another house (a yummy homemade meal: rolls & salad, chicken, rice, potatoes & gravy, corn, dessert) and then spent the night at the dance. she made it home at a decent hour and slept until 2:00pm this afternoon!!! it must have been amazing =)
oh, i didn't mention... this was her first "official" date!! woo-hoo!
