the other day i ran into kennedi walking out the door with the big goldfish cracker container. i immediately told her to put some in a baggie and not take the whole container out. she continued on without saying a word, so i followed behind her. she was having a "picnic" out on the front porch! it made me so happy to see her being a little girl! that small moment made me remember {it's the small things in life that matter} - i need to give up control a little and let the kids be kids =)
