... april 17, 2011 ...kameron turned 12 this year and was ordained a deacon in the aaronic priesthood. it was such a wonderful day. he also earned his faith in god award in primary. he was called up by bishop tanner for recognition during sacrament meeting, and ordained by john after church. we were all there to witness and feel of the spirit. i have never experienced this before and feel so lucky to have john to explain everything to me -- usually more than once! the following sunday was easter and kam passed the sacrament for the first time. it was awesome! what better a day than easter to pass for your first time? john was there with him -- teammates!!
we could not be more proud of kameron. he is a wonderful example to everyone around him. he strives to choose the right, to always do his very best. he is working so hard to earn his eagle scout award (already!). he loves going to scouts & mutual activities. maybe i'm a little sentimental because he is my only son! i am thankful each and every day that we were blessed with a son -- especially one as awesome as him =)

Congrats to Kameron!! That's so cool that he earned his Faith in God. What an awesome young man! My boys are lucky to have such a great example!
Twelve already? Unbelievable... He is such a fun kid and he'll be a worthy priesthood holder. Congratulations!
