the Suns deliver / Zoolights mania

We had a great weekend!
On Friday, John took Kameron to the Suns game (what would we do without Southwest?) I was invited to go first but decided to pass - Kerianne was going to a school dance and needed to be picked up. What I didn't know was that the dance lasted only until 7:30, and the Suns game didn't start until 8:30! I was a little bummed at first but then very excited for Kam to go. So, Kaisha babysat for the Randalls; Kerianne danced away with her friends; John flew in from Orange County and sped home to grab Kam; Kenners and I made dinner; I picked up Keri and fed her dinner; I finished up a few loads of laundry and the girls watched movies. I was sound asleep when the boys got home (around midnight) but they "ever-so-gently" woke me up to see all the pictures and Kam's new Suns basketball. It was a good game - we won by almost 30 points! I'll post a separate slideshow with all their pictures (I will warn you now that a lot of them are of the hottie Suns dancers!)
On Saturday, I registered Kam for little league baseball. He has tryouts this weekend. They will then determine whether he goes into minor or major league. We're hoping for minor league since he hasn't played it yet. Last year they had him in farm league (which they don't have this year) so we want him to stay down a level this year. If not, I'm sure he'll do great - hopefully not warming the bench, though :o( I'm excited for ball season again. I've been throwing the ball with Kam and he is quite impressed! I told him what a stud softball player I was growing up! I played first base a lot - I know, I was fabulous!! Kerianne is also trying out for her school softball team right now. It's fun to get out there and practice with them and show 'em what I've got!!!!
Saturday night we drove into town and hit the mall. Kaisha had a few dollars burning a hole in her pocket! While she shopped, the rest of us hit the Legos store. We stopped for munchies at In-N-Out (jealous, Lor?). Then we went to Zoolights at the Phoenix Zoo. It was so amazing! Kam said that he thought it was "so much better than the temple lights". I guess you can do more amazing things when you charge everyone to get in and walk around, right? I took a ton of great pictures and will do a slideshow. I also have a video that is so cool. A lot of the zoo was closed off so we didn't see too many animals - just a "very excited" zebra!! We ran into Bishop Randall and his family. We also had a lady take our family picture - she didn't have her glasses so we had to stand there forever! It was a fun time at the zoo...
