school night date night...

We were all in need of a break last night!

We met John in town for dinner

at

California Pizza Kitchen

and discovered this little beauty:

~ Oh my gosh ~

It is our new fav:

The California Club

(applewood smoked bacon, grilled chicken,

Mozzarella cheese, hearth baked then topped

with Roma tomatoes, chilled chopped lettuce

tossed in mayo and fresh sliced avocado).

I don't think we'll ever eat any other!

Well, I guess we also ordered the Pesto Chicken

but this topped it!

I, of course, didn't have the lettuce on mine

(bad experience @ Subway years ago)

but John, Kaish & Keri said that was

the best part!

Kam & Kenners shared a pepperoni pizza -

they don't stray too far out there yet!

After dinner, we hit the movies,

although, we didn't see this:The kids just thought it was an awesome sign!

We saw Paul Blart : Mall Cop.

So funny!

The kids also played a few video games

(can you believe how much they cost now?

I guess John and I are still back in the day

when they were only 25 cents -

not anymore!).

We hit Wendy's on the way home

for Frosty's.

It was so good to get out of the house

and not have to cook & clean...
