We decided to take a big family vacation this year! We have Kaisha graduating from Cosmetology school (and turning 21!), Kerianne graduating from high school and heading to college, Kameron turning 16, Kennedi heading in to high school in the fall!! There's a lot to celebrate :-)
So we booked a Carnival cruise to Ensenada, Mexico.
Boarding the ship. We cruised from Friday-Monday, April 3-6. Just a short trip but good enough to get our feet wet!
I love this picture, looking out over Long Beach.
Fun slides!
Party central!
Golf, anyone?! There was also a neat spa and fitness room. We worked out a little, but the movement from the waves was too much to handle.
The Carnival port is right next to the Queen Mary.
Setting sail!
Cute towel animals! We had two rooms, with the girls in one room and Kam sharing with John & I. It was... nice and cozy!!!
Kaish & Ker tanning on the "adult deck"!
Each night we went to the comedy shows - Rondell Sheridan was so funny. He is a star of That's So Raven on the Disney Channel. The kids enjoyed seeing him as well.
We spent a day in Ensenada. I don't know why I didn't take more photos! We gave the kids each $20 to wheel & deal and they got some good souveniers. I bought a pretty silver bracelet.
Princess ship next to us setting sail out of Ensenada. It was fascinating to watch these hug ships.
More fun towel designs.
This was such a wonderful time as a family. The food wasn't great and the ship smelled a little funky but we all had fun. We laughed in the comedy shows, bought a ton of candy, gambled a little, relaxed on deck, ordered fancy drinks, stayed up late, watched a game show, and so much more. We cannot wait for our next cruise :-)
