Kennedi & Kaisha babysat Isabella this morning for Jan (pronounced "yawn") so he could play soccer. He and Jana ("yawn-ah") are from the Czech Republic and he was a professional soccer player there. He also coaches in the youth league. So before leaving, he made all of us homemade Czech crepes, that were so delicious!
Later on, John took them shopping for camping supplies at Big 5. They've never camped and Jan wants to take Isabella. We met up at Highridge Park and taught him how to pitch a tent and work a camping stove. Isabella loved the tent! She changed into jammies and snuggled right in! They even camped there that night in the park! They were pretty excited about all the camping gear. At the park we had a little game of soccer and got to see some of Jan's moves.
Later that night, we walked along Hermosa Beach and pier. There is just something so relaxing about hearing the ocean waves and ingesting the sea salt and feeling the sand between your toes.
I love these four kids more than anything!
