posting a little late about this one!
on president's day john has a couple loads of rock delivered. he was home that day and he & the kids worked their tails off hauling rock to the backyard! they made a good dent in the pile. the following day he flew out to cali and was due back home thursday night. the kids wanted to surprise him and have it all done when he returned!! they worked many long, hard hours hauling that rock, one wheelbarrow load at a time, to the backyard and spreading it out. they got all but 10 loads finished!! i will tell you... that was not an easy fete! i helped them quite a bit and it was hard work. they were sore for a week! i've got to give credit where credit is due... kerianne! she just wouldn't stop! she is one hard worker bee :0)

What a nice surprise for dad! I gotta say, it is hard work! We did the same thing in our house in Maricopa, my husband, his friend and I took all the rock to the backyard and spread it out. Seriously my back was killing me! So the more credit your kids deserve, they did it out of love... :)
