yesterday i had another kidney biopsy. i spent the day/night at banner desert health center, and boy, was it a restless night! i had my ipod with paul cardall playing all night, but still woke up every hour or so. the doctor was great; my nurses even better. the food was fantastic -- actually, i would still be there right now just for the "room service"!!! my back is a little tender. not on the outside, but on my kidney - i can actually feel it inside. the site of my i.v. is really sore. they had it in the crease of my right arm (opposite the elbow) which made it hard to bend my arm.
now that i'm home, i am trying to take it easy and rest. it's hard! there's so much that needs to be done, but i know as soon as i start in on it (which i usually do), i am going to really regret it! so...... here's to a long and restfull weekend. i'm very thankful for an awesome family. john brought the kids to visit me, with flowers and cards! and they've got everything covered today. i couldn't ask for anyone better to look after me :)
dr. oconer will see me next week to review the results. i hope we can get clear answers and come up with a good plan for any future care.

I'm glad everything went well. Except for the sleeping. It's so hard to sleep well at a hospital. Don't push yourself- rest, rest and more rest girly!!! I'm glad your family is taking good care of you. I wish I could be there to take care of you too. I love you!!!!!
Aimee I'm sooo sorry to hear you are having troubles with your kidney. I hope everything goes well and you can be healthy again.
