{ Dylan & Kaisha - 1st date }Tonight was date night. John and I took Kaisha and her boyfriend Dylan out with us -- today was their "week-iversary"! We wanted to get to know him and his family. We were able to meet his Mom when we picked him up. She is really sweet. We went to dinner at Claim Jumper -- a fav spot of John & Kaisha's! They head there on their special "date night" and share sliders. Dylan and I felt privileged to share in their special spot! Dinner was fabulous. The conversation was great. We learned so much about him and his family. We can certainly see why Kaish likes him :)
After dinner we stopped by Fresh & Easy and then rented a couple of movies. We came home and the kids were able to meet Dylan. He is super nice and very respectful. He watched Four Christmas's with us. Half-way through the movie we hear the doorbell ring and a bunch of loud knocks. John looks outside and then starts to laugh, saying we're not going to believe it...
A group of Kaisha's friends got US this time!Alexis and Taylor came over to see the damage and then we got it all cleaned up. We finished the movie so Dylan could make his curfew at 11pm -- I actually got him home three minutes late! It was a fun night and I'm excited for this new dating adventure :)

What's better- first date with your little sister tagging along, or first date a double with your parents??? Hmm...

Wow, you sound so cool and excited about Kaisha's first date. I don't know if I'm going to act the same way when Erik or Angie start dating. I'll be more like the bad cop trying to get the truth out of his own lips... :P
Oh my word! Kaisha's dating! He's a cute boy, I'm glad you like him! I don't know if I'm going to be excited when that time finally rolls around for us... at least I have time!
