It's still strange to think that we have TWO teenagers
in the house now :)
We all woke up early so Ker could open her presents. Now, for her to actually get up early is a miracle in and of itself! I guess she was excited! She got a new hair straightener, a pack of lotions & body sprays, and a new shirt. This shirt is so funny -- you can kinda see it in the pics. There's a big metal juicer juicing an orange, and then two oranges off to the side waving their arms & screaming, "You Monster!" She loves it!
She came home from school with a ton of homework, which lead to a late night because we met John downtown at Spaghetti Factory. We had coupons for the birthday girls' meals and another for free cheesy bread. Can't beat those savings! The birthday girls were even treated to dippin dots instead of the traditional free spumoni!! It was a scary drive for us getting there, though: my car was totally out of gas and I didn't have the debit card! So we were "livin' on a prayer" to get there!
Dinner was great. We had a lot of good laughs!
At home we had Kerianne's favorite cake
At home we had Kerianne's favorite cake(funfetti w/ funfetti icing)

We hope you had an awesome birthday, Ker. You were so tired this morning, but at least you got all that homework done and you're prepared for school today! You can sleep in this whole "extended" weekend, okay ;)
