Spring Break
This week the kids have been home for spring break. On Sunday night I sat down with them and planned out a daily schedule: a little housework, a bit of packing, and then something fun each day. We thought this would help to keep us all sane! So far, so good! Monday, we stayed in and watched movies. Tuesday we went into town and had lunch at Boston Market, donated a bunch of old clothes and shoes to Goodwill, and then hit the Mall. We walked both levels and didn't buy anything (well, except for yummy pretzels - walking sure made us hungry!). On Wednesday we packed up lunch and went to Pacana Park. This was fun because John was home for the day and was able to come with us. He and the kids played basketball games, except for Kennedi who zoomed around on her scooter and played in the sand. Kennedi and I also sat by the lake and watched the fish. She gets so excited over the smallest things! Today we are excited to go into town to the country club and go swimming. The kids have been looking forward to this all week! John and I just bought a timeshare here and we can swim, play tennis, and golf on the awesome course anytime we want. This is probably where we will "live" during the summer! And finally, Friday we will do a lot of packing and go to the park. It has been fun to have something to look forward to each day. We get so cooped up during spring break, and I am usually ready for it to be over before it begins (come on, I know I'm not the only one!).

Yay! I love your blog! I'm excited to keep in touch this way-oh and I think you guys should keep that timeshare as your summer home even after you move to Chicago! :)
