Easter

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday. We enjoyed going to church, and reflected throughout the day of our Savior and His sacrifices for each of us. Now that the kids are older they more fully understand this, and do not get caught up in the "chicks & bunnies" (although they did get a little bit of candy in their baskets).
In the afternoon, John "slaved away" in the kitchen surprising us with a fabulous Easter dinner. We all felt like we were eating at a 5-star restaurant. So yummy! He really has talent in the kitchen :-)
Later on, John cleverly hid "real" Easter eggs in the yard for the kids to hunt. He makes it fun for Kameron and Kennedi, yet challenging for Kaisha and Kerianne. It takes them longer each year to find them. Kerianne did save the day when she finally found the last egg - they had searched and searched, and of course, Dad couldn't remember where that last one was! Smelly disaster avoided!

I'll have to take lessons from the master... Mine are WAY to easy to find!
