There are a lot of peacocks in Palos Verdes. I ran into several at the Malaga Cove library today.
They are a lot bigger than you think they are.
They will often cross the road right in front of you, so we have to keep an eye out for them.
And then there's this disgusting thing... a Jerusalem cricket. We find them down in our dungeon garage! They are huge - and scary - and usually find a corner and die. They can also climb the walls. It's disturbing.
