This year for the Fourth of July, our ward & Crestridge ward met for breakfast at the park, an annual tradition! It's fun to eat and socialize and let the kids run around and have fun. In the afternoon we went to the Pace's house for a BBQ and swimming in their amazing pool (why didn't I take more pictures?)

We decided that this year we would watch fireworks at Torrance Beach. We found a parking spot up on Palos Verdes Blvd and hiked down to the beach. Keri invited Nicole Rahman to go with us.
There were a bunch of teenagers and we saw a lot of barely there teeny bikinis! It was fun to just sit and people watch and listen to the tunes in front of the beach cafe. They shoot the fireworks from that barge.
It was so awesome to see the surfers out in the water when the fireworks would go off. They had the best spot possible!
We saw a few other spots along the Peninsula that we want to try out in future years, but this was definitely our favorite so far!
