mini mission...

The group of youth from our stake that served
(with some of the missionaries that could make it to the fireside)

Keri - with BFF Nicole to the right of her (well, half of her!)

Kerianne served in the Los Angeles Temple Visitor's Center / Marina del Rey Mission! She was paired with Sister Phillips (Utah) and Sister Ha (South Korea). She met them at the Visitor's Center where they gave her a tour. They watched a video about faith. She said she felt the spirit so strong. She had a warm feeling and her heart was so soft and she almost started crying! She noticed that it was so much easier to be happy and smile and that kept her in a better mood.
Saturday was her first full-day of serving. At then end of the day she was exhausted - but a good exhaustion! They worked out in the morning and kept busy the whole day. They visited with a less active member, John Story. He shares Keri's same birthday! They discussed the Proclamation to the Family, as he wants his family to come back to the church. Afterwards they took people on tours at the Visitor's Center. Keri was also able to chat with someone online at LDS.org. This gal was investigating and had committed to baptism, but had a few questions that Keri was able to answer for her.
A funny thing that she shared with us is that they prayed all the time! When they got into the car... before getting out of the car... before talking with someone... all the time!! Keri would open the car door and they would start their prayer! But she said that this brought such a strong spirit and she was able to see prayers answered and witness miracles.
