today was our final visit before we close on friday - moving day in one week!

this week they've installed the window blinds; installed the microwave & refrigerator - the stove has not come in yet but they had to insert one to pass inspection, hence the black stove; they installed the upper cabinets in the laundry room; the doorbell was installed (and tested many times!); the gas meter was installed; they painted both side of the block wall; the r.v. gate was installed today while we were there; they dragged the yard a final time to prep for landscaping; and they've blue taped several areas that need attention/fixed.

we purchased a water softener that should've been installed by now, but hasn't. we spoke with ernie @ blandford and he didn't know of anyone that had purchased a system from them. um, hello -- we did! so we made sure he'd follow up on it - they only have six days!!!

we are definitely excited to get into our new home! we've packed up most of our rental home and are starting on the cleaning. we can't wait to post our final picture of the finished home - it's been a fun process and we've felt so blessed throughout it. we would love to have visitors ;0)
