this could totally be a post about how much i love love LOVE pillsbury cinnamon rolls -- have for many years -- but i'll go another direction here...
today i brought home a frozen piece of cheesy/garlic bread that i had at work to have for lunch. i used one of two circle nonstick cake pans that we have to warm it up. it was delicious! being a little lazy, i left the pan on top of the stove. when the kids got home from school, kameron rounded the corner to the kitchen and freaked out!! he excitedly asked "who made cinnamon rolls?" i couldn't figure out what in the world he was talking about -- it didn't smell anything like cinnamon rolls in here! so when i question him he asks "what is the cinnamon roll pan doing out?" this made me smile :0)
~ short history of "the pans" ~
john and i were given these two nonstick cake pans for our wedding. and for me... that's quite a long time (i have issues being non-attached to things that i often give/throw things away)! really the only thing we ever use them for are our favorite cinnamon rolls! not cake -- i don't do round cakes (i don't like tall pieces of cake with frosting in the middle -- ewww gross!). i think john has made a few cakes, but really the only time these pans are seen are to be slathered with cream cheese frosting goodness!! i've thought about replacing the pans but cannot bring myself to do it! at least not until i'm ready to get serious about a healthy diet and decide never to bake cinnamon rolls again! um... yeah, looks like the pans are safe :)

That is so funny!!! Miles and I were just talking about how we always had cinnamon rolls at your house. We were telling the boys that you would always make them for us and how much I love them. I never have them anymore...boo. Maybe next time I come to visit? Hopefully soon???
we love the orange rolls as well!
