what a sad day. it was actually halie that discovered speckie. keri was sad, but not as devastated as bug when mini-moo died! everyone waited for me to get home from work to hold the funeral service. john dug the grave, we all said a few kind words, and then the funny part: john opened the lid of the box she was in and screamed something like "she's still alive!" which really freaked halie out!!! she screamed and started crying!! she was worried that she was the one to break the bad news to her friend, and it may not really be true!! it was sooo funny that we all nearly wet our pants! that really helped lighten the mood! we miss our little speckie but know she's now scurrying around with mini in heaven, waiting for us :) keri was a good mother and learned a lot about responsibility. but.... there will be no more rodents in the york home!!!
