Wow! I can't believe John and I have been married 18 years already (which just happens to be my favorite number!!). I won't say they have been the easiest years of my life, but definitely the most fulfilling! I am more in love with this man now than ever before. He has been my best friend for 22 years. And I'm so grateful that we will continue to be throughout the eternities :)
For our anniversary, I am able to get away with him. He had a business trip to Boston planned, and I had taken Friday off just in case we decided to do something, so I am able to fly back with him. I am so excited! I have never been there before and he has, so he'll be my tour guide! What about the kids, you say??? Well, they are "on-their-own"!!! They're going to spend some time with our friends, Chuck & Lucille (who happen to be our landlords) at their home swimming and having enjoying tons of homemade Italian food.
We'll only be gone a couple days, but it's a well deserved break... Happy Anniversary (on Saturday) Sweetie :)
