Kerianne and her Beehive class are able to attend the Mesa temple regularly to perform baptisms for the dead. Her leaders are such a blessing, showing these girls through example just how important the temple is. This day was an early Saturday morning (they meet at 5:30 am!!) and they had Tanner Crazee with them to perform the baptisms -- he had just returned home from his mission three days earlier. Afterwards, they drove to the site where the Gilbert temple is scheduled to be built and had a small devotional, while enjoying homemade cinnamon rolls and juice. They were each given a small jar to fill with dirt from this special site. They plan to return to that same spot after the temple is built for an "after" picture! I am so grateful to be in this ward at this time of our lives. We may not live in the biggest, prettiest house, but this ward is our "home". We have witnessed Kerianne's testimony strengthen with these temple opportunities. She has become a better daughter, sister and friend. We love you, Ker!5.02.2010
